1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Rahas.lk ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Description of Service
Rahas.lk provides secure digital storage, encrypted message routing, and automated digital legacy services. We provide the infrastructure; we do not create, endorse, or review the content stored or transmitted by our users.
3. User Responsibilities & Content Ownership
- You retain all ownership rights to the content you encrypt and store on Rahas.lk.
- You are solely responsible for the content you transmit. Rahas.lk utilizes Zero-Knowledge encryption for vault contents; therefore, we cannot read, monitor, or retrieve your encrypted secrets.
- You agree that you will not use the Service to store or transmit material that is: illegal under Sri Lankan law, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing on intellectual property, or containing malicious software.
4. Service-Specific Terms & Irrevocability
Rahas.lk offers three primary cryptographic data routing services. By using them, you agree to the following technical limitations:
A. "Burn After Reading" Links
You acknowledge that once a generated link is accessed by anyone (including URL scrapers, antivirus bots, or the wrong recipient), the database instantly and permanently deletes the encrypted payload. Rahas.lk cannot restore or retrieve a burned message.
B. Digital Time Capsules
When you lock data behind a future timestamp, the vault is cryptographically sealed until that exact server time is reached. You acknowledge that Rahas.lk support staff cannot and will not bypass this timer to grant early access under any circumstances, including legal disputes or changes of mind.
C. Legacy Vaults (Dead Man's Switch)
This service relies entirely on your response to automated "Heartbeat" emails. It is strictly your responsibility to whitelist Rahas.lk emails and maintain access to your check-in inbox. Rahas.lk is not liable for the premature, delayed, or failed dispatch of your legacy documents to your nominees resulting from user negligence, lost email passwords, or aggressive spam filters.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rahas.lk and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:
- Loss of profits, data, or digital assets resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
- Unauthorized access to your encrypted vaults resulting from your failure to secure your passwords.
- Server outages or maintenance-related downtime.
